5-Day Machu Picchu and Highlights of Cusco

Machu Picchu Latin America guides are the best and I only regret we cannot use them for the rest of our travels in Peru. But if you plan to see Machu Picchu and the surrounding areas, look no further. Everything ran according to plan, punctually and with excellent communication at every step. Yes, the days were packed full of sites and activities, but not stressful. Tour guides' English was excellent and they were very knowledgeable about the history and culture. I can't imagine how much we would have missed, had we tried to arrange all this ourselves, and I'm a pretty seasoned traveler. When I come back to Peru, Machu Picchu Latin American will be the first place I contact to book things. Thanks for everything.

Agradezco a Fredi por su ayuda y constante monitoreo, siempre estuvo pendiente de nuestros requerimientos dándonos las mejores recomendaciones desde el primer momento que contactamos. Los guía en Cusco, valle sagrado y Machupicchu nos enseñaron muchísimo compartiendo con nosotros su vasto conocimiento de historia no solo Inca o peruana sino que tejía excelentes argumentos que relacionaban con la historia universal y contemporanea absolviendo todas mis dudas y ni que decir de su trato siempre amable, paciente y muy cortéz. Sus vehículos muy cómodos y limpios, y los conductores siempre serviciales. En resume todo fue fantástico, superaron todas mis expectativas. Muchísima gracias por su profesionalismo.

We had an amazing trip through Cusco and Peru thanks to Machu Picchu Latin America. Fredi was very responsive leading up to the trip ensuring we were set up with the options that fit our family the best, like the VistaDome train car and the hotels. Although days 1 and 5 only consisted of rides from and back to the airport, it was nice having everything taken care of upon booking. We were extremely fortunate enough to end up with Bernardo and a driver all to ourselves. Bernardo was very friendly, especially with the kids, and he felt like part of the family by the end of the trip. I feel like we learned so much about Peru in the 3 tour days and we enjoyed the way the itinerary was structured. Machu Picchu was simply amazing, impossible to fully convey how it feels looking down upon the runs from the top of the Inca Trail. For those with young kids wondering if it's doable or worth it, we'd say it definitely is. Our 6- and 8-year old boys did great despite all of the climbing we did throughout the tour. Bernardo did a great job of making sure we got to rest if we needed to and we were never rushed through the sites. We definitely want to come back in a few years when the boys are big enough to hike the Inca Trail!
