Excelente experiencia, muy responsables. Lo unico fue el inconveniente con el cuarto asignado por el hotel la tercera noche que me hospede (era muy pequeña y tenia cosas dañadas) del resto recomendado. En especial a nuestro guia franco!

This is the tour for you if you only have a few days in Cusco and want to cover all the major attractions. The 6 day tour (6th day is just transfer to airport) starts in the main square of the city, taking a walk on the Inca streets, and visiting temples and ruins. We visited Machu Picchu on the third day, followed by Rainbow mountain and Humantay lake on 4th and 5th days respectively. The Machu Picchu guide was excellent, and made it a memorable experience for us.
We would have given 5 stars if not for the rather inconsiderate tour guide who took us to Rainbow mountain. The summit lies at 17,000 feet above sea level, and we were promised oxygen tanks and a slow trek comfortable for the whole group. However there was no oxygen, and the guide kept pushing us, because of which my wife had to take a horse halfway through the trail. There was oxygen tanks for the Humantay hike though, and the guide was super helpful.
Mind you the itinerary is strenuous, with two rather ambitious climbs on consecutive days. If you are taking this tour, I would recommend taking a horse at Rainbow mountain, so you remain fit on the next day. Trust me you don't want to miss the view atop Humantay. :)
Edwar was the one who coordinated the whole thing, and he was very responsive and constantly in touch with us. Kudos to him for organizing the itinerary and making the trip a pleasant experience.

A well package if you have less than a week to spend. Also physical fitness is a must! Hotel is meant to be 3* but not sure of ours. Nevertheless is clean and comfortable, with basic amenities except no drinking water in the room. Ask for heater on our second nite as it was cold in Cusco. Hotel located near traffic junction and you will hear the horns frequently. Hotel in Machu picchu was near train track so i ask for change of room due to the bad noise. A nite stay in aquas calientis is good as you can start early next morning and spend more time in Machu picchu. We enjoyed our time in Machu picchu!! The next day rainbow mountain is tiring, i took the horse but my husband trek. He had bad altitude headache effect on the night and we have to cancel our last day trip to Humantay Lake. Tour operator could have exercise flexibility and initiative as our flight from JFK to Lima transit to Cusco was delayed 3 times. I updated and informed the operator at least 16 hours ahead and i felt they could at least give us the entrance tickets for our own use when we missed the first day arrival Half day city tour , more so they knew we have a full day free before our night flight on the last day! Ours is private service tour, we had private guide for Machu picchu but it mix us with other group and cramped us with more than 15max pax( 19 exactly) in the mini bus to rainbow mountain. We still proceed with the group, and also the first day trip in a group but bigger bus to sacred valley. This has never happened before whenever we travelled in private service, as we find flexibility in spending time at sites. Service quality becomes an issue as operator outsource their services. i can only comment that the operator responded to my Watsapp fast enough. Viator allows us to cancel at least 24 hours in advance, but I'm thinking the operator was not glad to know we cancelled our daughter's package due to her visa issue (from 3pax to 2 pax). Hence, i wish to feedback here so that Viator should be aware and in the choice of operator. Overall we covered the main attractions and enjoyed our experience!
