  • Museo Larco, Lima, Peru
    After hotel pick up in Lima, travel to the site of the Larco Museum, to visit it with a knowledgeable local guide. Enter the museum, located in a mansion dated from the eighteenth century built on top of a pyramid from the seventh century, and begin your enriching exploration of the exhibitions. The amazing variety of pre-Columbian pieces are really impressive: you will see over 50,000 ancient Peruvian pots; admire glittering jewelry and intricate masks; marvel at the accurate detail of Moche (A.D. 100 – 800) portrait vessels, ceramic sculptures resembling human faces; and discover ceramics created by ancient Inca, Nazca and Chancay cultures. The Larco Museum was inaugurated by the renowned Peruvian archaeologist Rafael Larco Hoyle in 1926. This place has different galleries with permanent exhibitions, as well as a gold and silver gallery, and also, one in particular with erotic ceramics.

Esta ha sido una de las mejores experiencias en la ciudad de Lima, el Museo Larco es una joya con una colección increíble de huacos y textiles alucinantes! La cena exquisita, el ambiente del restaurante es hermoso, rodeado de jardines. La atención de primera, el guiado en el museo también. Lo recomiendo totalmente!
