Beat the crowds that arrive from Cusco around 1 hour later (we start the guided tour around 7.15 am, many others around 8.15 am). Leave one hour earlier than most of the touristy group tours offered, and enjoy Machu Picchu more than those who arrive later. Be with like-minded travelers, all with the idea to experience Machu Picchu, its history and some incredible moments. Further, visit spots tourist groups usually don't get to see (the left-wing), from where you're able to take incredible pictures (like in the gallery). Your guide will also join you for 2.5 instead of the common 2 hours while exploring the archeological site. In the end, have the possibility to stay a bit longer on your own until members of the Machu Picchu staff will direct you to the exit* *important: Machu Picchu is for all a one-way round trip. No one is able to return to prior spots visited, you can only go on until the exit or remain in the less observed area until you're pleased to go on.

Take minibus back down to Aguas Calientes Enjoy lunch and the small village before heading to train station Take train back to Cusco At train station driver awaits you to bring you safely back to your hotel in Cusco.

  • In the case of flight delays, inconveniences with the train schedule or bad weather (rain, landslides, etc.) we do not assume any responsibility, but your travel insurance most likely will offer coverage for these cases. This also holds for the airport pickup. The driver arrives 5 minutes after your arrival and waits up to 25 minutes outside on the parking lot when leaving the building (with a sign and your name on it). In case of any delays, you’ll have to get to your hotel on your own as the driver has to continue with his work. For any refund on this service, please claim it with your airline.
  • The seats in the train are chosen by the train company itself; there is no possibility to influence your seat from our side, but you will be sitting next to each other.
  • Please book this tour 1 month in advance, especially in high season (June-September) due to very high demand. It's still possible that due to unavailability spots cannot be saved and the booking will be refunded or alternative date will be proposed..

Henrique was an amazing organizer and communicator in advance of the trip. We just needed a guide for Machu Picchu, and someone to help us with entrance times, and insider tips. Thank you Henrique!!! I put requests out to three different groups. One came in 3x more expensive, the other had clearly no idea what I was asking for, and then there was exploor. The timing, the advice, it was all perfect. We got off the bus, climbed up, and just as he said it would, the clouds parted. And then there is Peter. He was our guide for the day. So professional, timely, informative, kind, and he takes REALLY good pics. He nailed our holiday card. I cannot recommend this group and Henrique and Peter enough. Especially since I had some other rather odd correspondence with other groups. They were both very thoughtful in their follow up, picked a great restaurant before our train trip back. It was overall five stars. Thank you from our entire family!

Sorry guys for the late review but I have finally made it! :-D Thanks a lot for making our dream come true and showing us Machu Picchu. The small-group tour was so much fun and we loved every second with our guide Peter. I haven't experienced it so often that someone is so proactive and is trying to make the experience unique. We have been 5 people and he was so nice and helped everyone with getting his unforgettable picture :D. It was good to listen to Konsti and upgrade to the vistadom train on the way back as through the panoramic windows was the view unique!!!! Best regards from vienna, lis

Incrível! Não só nos retirou a preocupação de ter de comprar e agendar os diferentes transportes como todos os envolvidos nestes eram muito simpáticos e prestáveis.
