The City Tour is a magical journey where we will appreciate the culture and history of Cusco. We will visit several places, including the Basilica Cathedral, followed by the Temple of the Sun, or Qoricancha. Then, we will travel in our vehicle to explore the four archaeological sites: Sacsayhuamán, Tambomachay, Qenqo, and Puca Pucara.

  • Cusco Cathedral, Cusco, Peru
    Accompanied by your guide, you will visit the Basilica Cathedral, a colonial church that houses the largest art gallery of the Cusco School of Art.

  • Qorikancha, Cusco, Peru
    Then, you will walk to Qoricancha, or the Temple of the Sun. The visit lasts about an hour, during which you will learn about Andean symbolism, the connection with the stars, and their importance in the Inca calendar.

  • Sacsayhuaman, Cusco, Peru
    We will visit the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park, where you can admire the massive stone walls inspired by the god of Lightning, as well as impressive examples of the Inca Empire's remarkable hydraulic engineering.

  • Q'enqo, Cusco, Peru
    Then, you will be taken to Qenqo, where you can admire the most important ceremonial huaca in the city.

  • Tambomachay, Cusco, Peru
    We will visit Tambomachay, where you can observe beautiful ceremonial fountains that have been functioning perfectly since the Inca era.

Buscaba una agencia de viajes que entendiera que mi familia y yo queremos conocer la mayor cantidad de lugares históricos en 4 días y lo logramos. El primer día conocimos Chincheros, Maras, Moray, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo y Pisaq (tipo un full day). El segundo día, ya más pausado Tipón, Pikillacta y Andahuaylillas (unas bellezas arqueológicas). El tercer día full Machupicchu y para cerrar con broche de oro el Cuarto día City tour (Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Q´enqo, Puca Pucara, Cristo Blanco, Barrio San Blas, Sapantiana). Tanto los guías Manuel como Jack son muy atentos, narran muy bien las historias de cada lugar, estuvieron pendientes de cualquier necesidad o inquietud que tuviéramos, son muy puntuales, los protocolos COVID los cumplieron al 100% e inclusive nuestros guías solicitaban a otros visitantes de otras agencias de viajes que se coloquen las mascarillas correctamente o que no se las retiren porque nos perjudican a todos. Mi hijo de 11 años se puso mal (soroche) en Chincheros pero inmediatamente Manuel nos ayudó dándole a oler agua florida y se repuso inmediatamente. La verdad que me faltaría palabras para describir los maravillosos días que pasamos en Cusco, sobre todo porque todo el personal de la agencia de viajes nos ayudó a concretar nuestro sueño. Muchísimas gracias a Oscar, Karina, Manuel, Jack, los dos choferes (Abelardo y mil disculpas me olvidé el nombre del otro chofer). Los recomiendo con mis amistades quienes desde ya me han pedido detalle de todo. Un afectuoso saludo.
