Be immersed into a fascinating trip to the San Pedro Market, where you’ll be introduced to a vast variety of local and ancient products, learn about the history behind them and their impact in today modern Peruvian gastronomy. Later, we’ll invite you to our cozy cooking studio, located inside a colonial times house (two blocks away from the market), where you’ll step back in time to enjoy a modern Peruvian cooking class guided by a professional Peruvian chef.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Our chef was incredible! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. The food was delicious and it was the perfect environment to learn to cook some high end Peruvian recipes and learn new skills. This was a highly valued part of our trip! Thank you Chef Alvaro!

We were the only couple booked for the morning class. We enjoyed the market and learned a lot. Our instructor took his time going through each course. The pisco sour and ceviche were my favorites. Don’t plan to eat the rest of the day!

No te puedes ir de Perú sin hacer una incursión a su fascinante mundo gastronómico. El mercado de San Pedro es un magnifico punto de partida y Álvaro el guía que necesitas. Es un apasionado de su tierra y productos, honesto y auténtico, se le nota que disfruta de sus clases. 100% recomendable como experiencia. Viva el pisco y el Perú!
