Dear customer, you can send me the details of your hotel after the booking, once you get here in Cusco we will brief you about the tour at our office, then the pick up will be from your hotel and you can wait for us between 4:00 am to 4:30 am.

  • Humantay Lake, Cusco, Peru
    we pick you up from your hotel between 4:30 to 5:00 am, then a 4-hour-drive to Soraypampa (3850 m.a.s.l.). In Soraypampa we will have a delicious breakfast to start our day well before beginning our trek. In Soraypampa we will start our trek up to the Humantay Lake (4200 m.a.s.l.) with beautiful views and if the sky is clear enough, we can see the impressive snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay. It is a 1.5-hour-walk to the lake with a low to moderate difficulty, and more than worth it when you see the magical view. It is also possible to rent a horse instead. We will have enough time to take pictures, bring an offer to the Apus, and for the real brave ones; swimming in the lake when it’s sunny! After some free time, we will start our descent to Soraypampa of about 1.5 hours, which is a lot easier than the way up. In Soraypampa lunch will await us and after some rest we return to Cusco where we will arrive around 5 p.m.

The worst day ever...Mega Disappointing. Tour guide refused to use English, food well below oar, lied at border control, tried to coerce extra 15 soles from each tourist on the bus

Shocking experience! I would kot recommend Mega Expeditions for any activities. Bus driver was preoccupied. Guide barely spoke English and needed reminding that there were non Spanish tourists on the bus. He did not accompany tourists to the lake and did not explain or inform us of anything. Did not negotiate horses with locals as discussed and split myself and my sister up, resulting in us not having a shared experience as planned. Food included in the package was below par. Diserted our bus during the drive home, and alternative route options due to strikes, leaving guests uninformed of the situation.

El lugar es increible y maravilloso, peroooooo para llegar alli el camimo es complicado( precipicios) y en la camioneta nos toco un conductor que iba super rapido, llegamos todos asustados, y la guia normal, ni motiva. Asi que eso es lo feo para llegar a la laguna.
