    Our transport will pick you up from your accommodation between 4:20 to 4:40 hrs. Temperature during the first hours of our Humantay lake tour is cold ( 5 to 9°C ) that why you need to bring one extra warm sweater, jacket, hat and gloves. These will keep you comfortable during this driving time to Mollepata. After 2 hours driving we will arrive at Mollepata where we will stop for breakfast and get last things you forgot to buy in Cusco like water and snacks. After breakfast there is an hours drive to Soraypampa. Once we arrive at this high mountain plateau we will be able to see the beautiful mountains Apu Salkantay (6230 meters above sea level) and Humantay (5250 meters above sea level). After a short time to prepare and gather our day packs, we start the 1 hour trek to Humantay Lake (about 3 km.) The way up to Humantay Lake is steep however our group is small and our guide will let you take your time to enjoy and arrive without pressure. After enjoying our first view of Humantay Lake there is a optional small climb above the lake to the right or left where you can enjoy a panoramic view. Next we have the easy part of our trek. We go downhill to Soraypampa for another hour. Then we will take our private transportation back to Mollepata where a local lunch will be waiting for us. Once we finish lunch we will go back to Cusco. We will arrive in Cusco between 17:00 to 18:00 hrs

o passeio é cansativo! tenha isso em mente. São 8km (subida+descida) em uma altitude de 4.000mts. Tem a opção de subir a cavalo para que não aguenta. Tem que sair bem cedo de cusco (tipo 3-4 da manhã) para evitar as hordas de turistas. O passeio dura o dia todo Se você tem bom preparo físico peça para o seu guia para "cortar caminho" a trilha é bem mais bonita e chega-se mais rápido. Mas vale muito a pena! passeio lindo, trilha espetacular e a lagoa é deslumbrante.

Fue mi primer recorrido del viaje con menos de 30 horas de aclimatación. La subida fue pesada, con ritmos rápidos, respirando con dificultad, ¡pero todo vale la pena cuando llegas a la cima! Lo hicimos con la agencia Bioandean Expeditions, es una gran empresa y el equipo de principio a fin y son excepcionales, no te arrepentirás de haber reservado con esta empresa. Sale a las 7:00 a.m. Se tarda 2 horas en llegar al pie de la montaña. Camino estrecho, en los acantilados, curvas sinuosas, Hicimos una parada para desayunar incluido en el tour y regresamos al mismo lugar. La subida comienza a los 3800M y sube hasta los 4200M, es bastante increíble. Aproximadamente 2 horas cuesta arriba, luego 1:30 para bajar. Regreso al hotel alrededor de las 17:00 horas. Tomamos el sol en la carretera y llovió a la vuelta. ¡Así que asegúrese de traer protector solar, anteojos, impermeable y gabardina!

Amazing experience with breathtaking views. Jose and driver were very professional and we felt safe with them! Definitely would recommend this hike! It is a bit challenging but worth it! There are horses along the way that you can take for the hike up which made for a great experience. Dress in layers and bring your hiking sticks.
