I organized a private tour of Lima with Sandra, and it exceeded expectations! We are a business group and had a lot of last minute changes, but Sandra was very accommodating and adapted the tour to fit our tight schedule. Everyone had a blast walking around the historic city center, taking photos, going to the chocolate museum, and visiting the catacombs. I highly recommend taking a tour with Sandra!

This tour took us to the Church of Santo Domingo, a interesting and beautifully decorated building, and then on to the centre of the city, the Plaza Mayor, from where the palaces of the president and the archbishop as well as Lima Cathedral were on view. The tour then visited a house named Casa Luna where a unusual and very extensive collection of nativity scenes were available for viewing. The return journey involved a stop at an ocean viewing point. All in all, not a bad tour, accompanied as it was by a guide with excellent English, but the effect of the high traffic density was that we were able to spend less time at the points of interest than we would have liked.

We were a group of 8 and wanted to see the city and the areas around Pachacamac. Mariela was out guide for two days and we couldn't have asked for more. Her English is excellent and she, and her driver, were able to show us everything we wanted from the ruins of Pachacamac to the shops and restaurants in Miraflores. As an ex Peace Corps Volunteer (1966-1968) living in Lima, I wanted to "go home again" and visit my old city. Mariela did everything possible to bring back the many memories of my two years living in Lima, La Victoria and Callao. She was terrific!!
