    This tour begins at an upscale restaurant and lounge that sits right on the beach. With spectacular views of Lima’s coastline, Cala is a spot you won’t soon forget. Here you'll taste Peru's famous pisco and learn a thing or two to impress your friends with a new cocktail when you get home. This lively libation is accompanied a delicious seaside bite to kick the evening off!

  • Huaca Pucllana, Lima, Peru
    The next stop is a well-known classic among Lima locals, the prestigious Huaca Pucllana Restaurant, located within an archaeological complex with illuminated ruins dating back to 500 A.D. Here you will enjoy a selection of Peruvian dishes and another pisco-based cocktail. The views and dishes are so irresistible at this stop that even Mick Jagger, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and the King of Spain, among many others, have not dared to miss it during their travels to Peru.

    We will then head to the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco for the last stop. Excellent experience. The food was amazing from the Peruvian coffee breakfast through to main course lunch. Our guide Patricia’s knowledge of food, the history and land marks of Lima made this so much more than a gourmet experience. Patricia was very enthusiastic and friendly which made the tour even more enjoyable . Highly recommend this experience.

I had an absolutely lovely and memorable time doing this culinary tour with Lima Gourmet! 100% found it worth every dime. The selection of restaurants was great, my personal favorite of the ones we stopped at on the evening tour was Xoma -- delicious and creative dishes, and a special experience in a private room doing a tasting menu with the executive chef/owner, Rafa. I also want to recognize Kimberly, who was our guide for the evening. I am a solo-female traveler, and from the moment Kimberly picked me up it felt like exploring the city with a friend. She was excellent: extremely knowledgeable, charismatic, and happy to share more travel tips about places all over Peru. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience and would recommend going for it when you're in Lima!

This is an excellent experience! Patricia was so much fun to be with and very entertaining. Not only was the food quite plentiful and delicious, Patricia gave us so much background on the culinary culture in Peru and lots of information about the area as well. As for a favorite restaurant, it’s difficult to choose as all 4 were quite different. We ended our night at Xoma and it was fantastic. I sincerely appreciate the Chef presenting our courses and also educating us in a fun way. Quite the experience. One not to be forgotten!
