Machu Picchu Tour By Train (2 Days)

My family booked our 2-day trip to Mchupicchu with Ariana that received us very gently and always had patience to close all of our doubts about the whole trip, since we were in a tied schedule. Everyone was so attentious, like the driver Edwin and the tour guide was Juan. The route we've tooked were the most beautiful one and that was the best part up there in Machu Picchu, where we had the chance to see many sectors and hear a lot of histories. The Intipunku hotel at Machu Picchu town was very nice and the breakfast was great. We highly recommend the Gringo Tours in Cusco!

Excelente servicio en Machu Picchu :) :) Yo y mi familia reservamos el tour a Machu de dos días y una noche con Happy Gringo y tuvimos una experiencia inolvidable. El recojo de nuestro hotel estuvo puntual, el transporte hacia Ollantaytambo pueblo tenía buenas vistas, el tren estuvo muy espectacular en el valle sagrado de los Incas, el hotel muy limpio, ciudadela Machu Picchu muy maravilloso, y nuestro nuestro guía Edgar estuvo muy informativo de la historia de Machu Picchu. Recomendamos muy altamente a Happy Gringo del Perú!

I bought the service at the very last minute, when other big tours could not provide the service due to insufficient participants (most people canceled for the political unrest that happened in the second week of December). Juan Salas helped me to arrange the trip, and it was marvelous. He was very communicative, wrote down all itineraries and the instruction was very clear. The first day, it seems that I was assigned with people from other company but that's make sense given the situation that made it impractical to run the trip by only me as the participant. Then I was dropped in Ollantaytambo Station to Aguas Calientes station, where I was picked up by Ruben Salas, who will becoming my tour guide for Machu Picchu in the next day. Ruben was super chill, he knew that I was so tired that day and he gave everything he knew and dropped me in the hotel. During Machu Picchu trip, Ruben picked me up with other participant and, other than the greatest Machu Picchu itself, Ruben's guide service was beyond amazing! He was also a pro photographer, he took a lot of photos of us with perfect results! After the tour finished, he took us to the restaurant. As I was not able to continue the lunch because I was running for my train, Ruben walked me up to the station! Overall, I love the service, they are cheaper compares to the other big name tour service, but their qualities are something you can put on the table!
