From Cusco: Plaza de Armas or pick up from your hotel, as long as it is in the city center and surroundings.
For places outside those limits, you must coordinate with the Operator the feasibility of your pick-up or Meeting Point.

  • Moray, Maras, Peru
    The complex is located 74 km (46 miles) from Cuzco City, at 3,500 masl (11,483 fasl). An outstanding archaeological site because it holds a series of circular Andean paths that were probably amphitheaters. The largest has 12 paths and has a depth of 100 meters (328 feet). According to researchers, the circular paths in Moray served as a center for agricultural research, as each level offered different climatic conditions and allowed for different plants to be cultivated experimentally.

  • Salinas de Maras, Maras, Peru
    Maras is a town in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, 40 kilometers north of Cusco, in the Cusco Region of Peru. The town is well known for its salt evaporation ponds, located towards Urubamba from the town center, which have been in use since Inca times. The salt-evaporation ponds are four kilometers north of the town, down a canyon that descends to the Rio Vilcanota and the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

This was a wonderful opportunity off the beaten path. I loved stopping for the weaving demonstration. That was a pleasant surprise. I was eager to purchase the salt products available available at the salt production site. The only downside was at the conclusion when the guide and everyone else stepped off the van. I was going to be left in an unfamiliar part of the city without knowing how to find my way back to the hotel. If you offer hotel pickup, please ensure attendees are returned back to pickup location.
