    Our tour guide will pick you up and take you to a local market in Surquillo district. There you will meet the chef and decide as a group on the starter and main dish to cook. We will visit different stands accompained by our guide who will explain all about the Peruvian food culture and choose the best ingredients for the dishes that we will prepare in the kitchen.

    Once we buy all the products in the local market, we will go to our kitchen in Miraflores to start cooking. The cooking class includes snacks, fruit festival, 1 starter and 1 main course.

Great experience, with an English-speaking guide, along with the chef, taking us to the local (huge) market, where you could buy virtually anything -- including all the ingredients of the three items we were all to participate in making, and eating. Excellent experience, although we all felt that it could have been a bit shorter. Certainly, your money's worth!

This cooking class was amazing. Due to timing we ended up being on a private tour and it was great. We saw the local market, learned some customs, watched the chef shop for fresh ingredients, spoke with locals and then learned how to cook! Chef Ruth and our guide were both amazing, easy to talk to and with and made for a great time. Highly recommend. You'll even get a copy of your favorite recipes when your done! We even learned that this amazing program gives back to their local community and supports students and families.
