    The tour starts from your hotel in Cusco at 4:00 am approx, depending on your hotel location the pickup time will be quite different.

You travel by car for 2 hours approx in our tourist transport until arriving in the community of Cusipata. Here, you enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing with the tour. Continuing the Rainbow Mountain Tour, The car leaves the main road to take the dirt road for 45 minutes more. During the trip, you can observe beautiful landscapes, canyons, and beautiful glaciers as The Ausangate Glacier (The biggest of Cusco region).

Great experience! Rainbow mountain was closed so we went to Palccoyo mountain. Our Tour guide Alejandro picked us up from our hotel around 430am and others around the city. 90 min ride to breakfast in a cute spot then another 2 hour ride to the mountain. Views were spectacular! Hike itself doable - up and back to the van in about 3 hours. Views from the mountain top also wonderful. On the way back, same amount of time, stopping for lunch on the way at the same restaurant. We were back in the city center by 3ish pm. Loved the experience! Seamless and great communication with this tour group!

Really loved this. Thanks to guide Will and driver Gerald we pushed for an early start and to skip breakfast. The strategy paid off as we were the first ones at the site...in order to enjoy the view virtually in private...and take some awesome photos without the tourists in the shots. Will knows the locals, the best approached to reach the destination and he's extremely knowledgeable about the region, culture and history. Thanks, Kantu Peru Tours!
