Journey through an undiscovered land of wild desert landscapes, snow capped peaks, herds of alpaca, and arrive at the ultimate destination – The “Rainbow Mountain” hidden deep in the Andes. Throughout your journey you will pass through a vibrant green valley with the impressive Ausangate mountain towering in the distance. You will experience first hand how locals live in the mountains and even have a chance to speak with them. As you get closer to the Rainbow Mountain you will begin to see the first signs of the colored minerals that formed the painted hills. Your guide will explain what makes up the existence of the “Rainbow Mountain”, and finally with one last push you will hike up to a vantage point that gives you a 360 degree view of the beautiful landscape that makes up this sacred land in Cusco – Perú.

    We will pick you up between 03:00 hrs. – 03:15 hrs. Then we are going to set out on a drive through the South Valley. The drive takes around 3 hours to get Hanchipacha community where we are going to stop for breakfast. After that we are going to drive you 15 minutes more to Quesiuno community (4,326 m / 14,189 ft.), where we are going to start with the trekking of 3 hours approx. long to the rainbow mountain (most of the way is going up). In the way up we are going to be able to enjoy amazing landscapes of herds of alpacas and llamas, the Ausangate Mountain, many red mountains and traditional local houses. When we finally reach our destination the Rainbow Mountains (5,020 m / 16,466 ft.), you will have time to explore the area and take pictures. We will spend approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour (depend of your trekking speed and weather conditions).After the amazing view of the landscapes on the top we are going to down to the beginning of our trekking point, that take 2 hours approx. (Quesiuno community) where we are going to take our transportation to Hanchipacha community to have lunch. Then you are going to be drive to Cusco, and drop you at Regosijos square.

Muy buena excursión a buen precio. No sólo las vistas increíbles de la montaña y de la experiencia de ver una montaña única en el mundo sino también el buen desayuno y la buena comida que te entra en el precio. Fue un muy bonito día.

Superbe expérience avec cette agence toutes nos sorties étaient super et bien organisées rien a redire. Nous avons fait le Selkantay trek que je recommande vivement avec cette agence tant l'expérience fut riche. Nous avons également fait plein de sorties sur 1 jour (Montagne de Palcoyo, vallée sacré...)qui se sont toutes très bien passées. Je recommande vivement cette agence, Johan a été très gentil et toujours arrangeant avec nous peu importe l'heure il c'est débrouillé pour nous trouver ce qu'on voulait.
