This was one of my best days out during my trip to Peru. Rainbow mountain is a stunning, spiritual place with some of the best views I have ever seen. It was well worth the two hour trek to the top to see the views but what made the hike more enjoyable was our guide Hannibal. He had a vast knowledge of the area and gave us lots of information as we made the hike up but also made sure to check on everyone in the group while making the accent fun with his great sense of humour and larger than life personality. This tour is one of the gems of Peru and is a must for anyone visiting Cusco.
