The Vinicunca Mountain, is better known as the Mountain of 7 Colors or the Rainbow Mountain, it is one of the most impressive mountains of Apu Ausangate, due to the minerals present in its soil and the natural erosion of the sedimentary stones of its hills and slopes present the hues of the rainbow. For this reason, this magical Mountain of Seven Colors has become one of the most visited tourist destinations in Peru and South America. From the top, you will be able to see the incredible high Andean landscapes of the snowy Ausangate and the Red Valley. In order to enjoy this tour, it is important to inform that the departure takes place at dawn. Duration: 14 hours (Reference from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm).

    04:00 | Transfer At the beginning of the day we will pick you up at your hotel between 04:30 a.m. and 05:10 a.m., to start a direct trip for 3 hours to the base of Vinicunca, from where the walk begins. 07:00 | Breakfast When you arrive it is very cold so you must wear warm clothes, on the tour we pass through the restaurant where breakfast is served. 08: 00 | Hike Then a walk begins for approximately 1:30 hours to the Rainbow Mountain viewpoint. 10: 00 | Top Upon reaching the top, the guide will give you the corresponding explanation, then you will have a time of 40 minutes to take pictures and enjoy the scenery. 13:30 | Return Finally, you will return to the base in a walk of approximately 2 hours, then go to the restaurant where you will have lunch and then you will begin the trip back to Cusco. The tour ends in Cusco at approximately 6:00 p.m.

If you're looking for a tour in Cusco, Eco tour is one of your best choice. We took the tour 3 days in a row to Rainbow mountain, Sacred Valley, Humantay lake and had a great exprerience. The tour guides were knowledgeable, helpful and responsible. Lida and Victoria are the best, they're very friendly and attentive.

Our trip to Cusco was fulfilled with a nice help from Lida who gave us straightforward recommendations about how we should plan our schedule to beautiful places that we should visit. She was very attentive and calm in arranging the tour for us even though it was just a night before the tour started. We were very impressed by the service of the first tour that we took to the Rainbow mountain. The tour guide took an utmost care to make sure that everyone reached the top of the mountain and came back safely. He even carried one of my friend down from the mountain when she was too tired to walk stabily by the altitude sickness. After that trip, we decided to choose two consecutive tours with them again to Moray-Moras salt mine and the Humantay Lake and they did not disappoint us. The tour price was comparatively reasonable compared with the service we received. They do offer both group and private tours. Apart from the tour, they also suggested us great local restaurants in Cusco. We really appreciate their service mind and highly recommend Eco Tour Cusco to anyone who is looking for a friendly and reliable tour in Cusco.

La montaña de los siete colores es ESPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!! Vale la pena la caminata. Se ve un nevado imponente y la vista es lo mejor. Es una experiencia increíble. La guía super preparada con su oxígeno portátil para cualquier emergencia ya que la altura puede afectar la respiración , pero en nuestro caso no fue necesario. Durante nuestra estadía en Cusco todos los lugares muy interesantes y los guías de ECO TOUR muy profesionales y conocedores de toda la historia de Perú. Excelente experiencia.
