On this 4-day hike you overcome the highest point of the trek, which is the Salkantay Pass at 4,550 meters above sea level. You also enjoy amazing mountain scenery with snowy peaks, mountain lagoons and remote Andean villages.

Amazing experience and a definite recommendation for anyone to do this trip! Maria is just a fantastic guide! And the food of our chef Clemente was super yummy (best lomo saltado ????). Great organisation and very efficient setup. Go for it! ????

I paesaggi sono bellissimi, la fatica ad altitudini elevate si fa sentire ma ne vale la pena. Le persone che ci hanno accompagnato erano veramente brave.... un grazie speciale va al cuoco Clemente, che è riuscito magicamente a preparare cibi da ristorante in mezzo al nulla, e soprattutto alla nostra guida William, allegro, preparato, sempre disponibile, che ha modellato perfettamente il trek per rendercelo l'esperienza migliore possibile.

What an incredible experience. The Salkantay route is stunning and it was made even better by our guide Pepe (Luis). He spoke excellent English, and was a really genuine person to be around. Clearly passionate about the outdoors and Inca history, Pepe was also always incredibly clear about our plans for the day and attentive to our interests and needs. A fantastic tour guide around Machu Piccu too. A very professional operation overall- bus from hostel was comfy, tents and camping equipment were very good quality, food too on the way was excellent. It would’ve been a lot harder without three tasty and filling meals every day! Can’t imagine how one would improve the trip.
