Join us on a full-day adventure starting at 7:00 am! We'll pick you up from your hotel in Puno and take you to the main port to board our comfortable motorboat. Our knowledgeable guide (English/Spanish-speaking) will lead you to the fascinating Floating Uros Islands, where you'll witness the unique lifestyle of the Uros people. From there, we'll head to the stunning Taquile Island, known for its breathtaking views and rich culture. You'll take a leisurely 30-minute uphill walk to reach the main plaza, where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch and learn about the island's famous textiles, which have been declared a "Cultural Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO. After lunch, we'll explore the main square, the handicraft market, and some local museums. Finally, we'll descend to the main port and board our boat back to Puno, arriving at around 5:30 pm. Easy to arrange and the organizers are very friendly and good with communication. The tour guide was very informative about the itinerary, locations and about the history. The lunch included on the tour was very delicious.
