    Tikal National Park is the most excavated archaeological site in Central America and one of the most excavated (archaeological) sites in the world. We expect to see many temples and clim them. ITINERARY 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. – We’ll meet you and pick you up at the airport or at your hotel in Flores or El Remate, etc. 8.30 a.m. – Arrive at Tikal National Park and begin our walk through the park visiting the most impressive sites. 1:30 p.m. – Tour ends at the parking lot and we take you to flores or we recommend where to eat. 2:30 p.m. - Lunch on your own ends and we drive to Flores to have a walk by yourself. 5:00 p.m. – Arrive back in Flores to drop you off. Elmer's knowledge of the site and its history made this an excellent tour. We spent over 4 hours with Elmer and he was constantly coming up with information to paint a vivid picture of Mayan life at Tikal.

Fantastic!!! We were picked up at the airport for the excursion to Tikal. First we stopped for breakfast and continued to Tikal. Great knowledge of the archaeological area and the passion for the subject was noticeable. The vehicle very comfortable and new. I definitely recommend it. Worth it.

The guided visit with Elmer was terrific. He is extremely knowledgeable and knew the site inside out so that we could take shortcuts or avoid big groups, and he could lead us to pathways that were less strenuous than others. He integrated what we were seeing with interesting history and was able to answer all of our questions. He is also very personable and we had a really lovely day.
