Our "Highlights & Hidden Gems" tour is one of our most popular experiences, offering an immersive look at the best of Phnom Penh. You'll be picked up from your hotel by TukTuk and taken to the starting point, where your guide will introduce you to the city and the itinerary for the day. The tour covers major landmarks like the Central Market, Wat Phnom Temple, and the Independence Monument, spanning 5 kilometers on foot approx.. Along the way, you’ll also discover at least 5 more of hidden and have the chance to try unique local snacks and beverages. The tour can conclude at suggested bars or restaurants for you to enjoy your evening, or talk to your guide to help if your want to go back to the hotel.

Hai met us at the hotel and we caught a tuk tuk together to the start of the tour. We were fortunate enough to be the only 2 on the tour which made it extra special. In sweltering heat and high humidity, we took off on a tour that lasted just over 3 hours, covering 6km. The tour was informative and extremely interesting which you will not get in the back of a tuk tuk. We gained valuable insight into Cambodian royalty and political history as well as tasting some interesting snacks, which included avoiding grilled tarantulas! In English his name is pronounced as "hi" which means hello. In Afrikaans his name "haai" means shark. He is pretty cool and the tour is highly recommended.

Kom met me at my hotel at 4:00 in the afternoon. He hailed a tuk-tuk and off we went to the Central market. We walked past shops selling flowers, vegetables, meat & fish, and sampled many freshly made treats. We continued on to explore the wide boulevards lined with government offices and corporate headquarters. We passed parks & temples, trees full of giant noisy fruit bats, and a scrum of hornbills loitering about the entrance to an upscale Hotel. So many snacks to try, so many sites to see. Kom is warm and generous and full of wonderful stories. Thank you for a memorable walk Kom, you were a highlight of my time in Phnom Penh.
