Trip is private in one of our game viewing suvs with big opening windows & sunroof. No need to share the big 25 seaters open truck or be forced to take pictures through a closed minibus window. We go further, stay longer, see more! Our guides are Pilanesberg experts. Spend several hours on a safari, reaching distant parts of the reserve. Lunch at the lodge on a viewing deck overlooking the reserve. There is an option of changing to an open safari vehicle (OSV) for part of you safari. The OSV drives are 3 hours long.

We had a fantastic day at Pilanesberg Game Reserve, our tour guide was named Anton, an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced tour operator! Even though we had to set off especially early to make it to the park for opening it was definitely worth the early rise as we were lucky enough to see 3/5 of the big 5! I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to have an amazing wildlife experience.

Anton was great! He picked us up from our hotel at 4:30 AM and gave us some background about South Africa on the two hour drive to the park. He also planned a coffee stop which was needed!! He helped us spot animals and drove to locations after hearing the types of animals we really wanted to see. The three of us asked many questions but he was always happy to answer all questions! Definitely recommend this tour and using a private tour for an adventure like this!

I had a great experience with Willem, I decided to maximise my trip (as I only had one day) by having both a sunrise and sunset safari. Willem was very knowledgable about the wildlife which made the trip fascinating and educational. I benefits from a private trip experience so it was gxreat to be able to stop and observe the wildlife as we saw fit. I also felt very safe on the drive back and forth from J'burg with Willem at the wheel. Highly recommended.
