Enjoy Kenya’s most popular snorkelling and diving boat safari to the famous Kisite Marine Park, just 50km from Diani Beach. Diving at extra cost, pay on the day. Snorkel and/or scuba dive in warm waters with pristine coral and marine life diversity, home to dolphins, turtles, stingrays, moray eels and an unbelievable diversity of fish and coral species. Pilli Pipa have two sailing dhows and can therefore ensure small numbers on each for added safety and individual service.   You’ll have the chance to snorkel twice in Kisite Marine Park before sailing to your private Robinson Crusoe restaurant on Wasini Island to experience a traditional and fresh Swahili seafood lunch (vegetarian options also available). Your excursion with us includes return transfers to and from your Diani/ Mombasa hotel, all Marine Park entrance fees, use of modern and maintained snorkelling equipment, all snacks and beverages on board your dhow as well as alcoholic beverages and seafood lunch on Wasini Island

Hotel pickups commence between apporximately 7:00am and 7:25am from Diani Beach.
Depart from Shimoni jetty at approximately 8:45am

  • Colliers Centre, Diani Beach Road Diani Beach, Diani Beach, Kenya
    You will be collected from your South Coast hotel or villa and driven by minivan to Shimoni where you board our dhow to go to the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park. This excursion is not suitable for collection from North Coast Mombasa hotels as the travelling distance is long. Many guests still do it but there can be long delays at the Likoni ferry. Snorkel at two different dive sites with the chance of seeing dolphins on the way and in the park. Dolphin sighting not guaranteed but highly probable. We see dolphins regularly and there is plenty of marine life to see. Then proceed to Wasini Island for an excellent lunch of fish and crab. Alternatives of chicken or vegetarian can be ordered in advance.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Accueil non chaleureux…tourisme de masse. Pas de chance car il a plu le matin, ce qui n’a pas aidé. Bateau peu confortable.On avait demandé à faire une plongée plutôt que du snorkling ce qui a été possible (plutôt bien). Par contre,aucun contrôle des niveaux de plongée. Des débutants sans aucune expérience dans le même groupe que des plongeurs confirmés. Un seul guide pour gérer ce petit monde. Nous avons eu la chance de voir des dauphins. Conclusion: Manque de sérieux même si le guide de palanquée est très gentil.

Toller Ausflug mit altem Segelboot und super netten Mannschaften zu einem Riff mit vielen bunten Fischen und Delphinen. Für das absterben des Korallenriffe kann der Veranstalter nichts, fraglich warum man deswegen Punkte abgezogen bekommt. Man kann trotzdem viel sehen und der Ausflug lohnt sich. Zu Beginn der Fahrt gab es Kaffee, Tee und Kekse. Während der ganzen Fahrt konnte man Wasser und Softdrinks trinken, nach dem Schnorcheln gab es eine Frucht gegen den salzigen Geschmack. Das spätere Mittag würde auch super toll präsentiert und war super lecker. Bitte nehmt euch Wasserschuhe oder anderes im Wasser tragbares Schuhwerk mit, da es auf dem Weg zum Mittag einige Seeigel zum überqueren gibt.

A wonderful day out and good experience despite the rainy weather in the morning. Spotted a few dolphins, saw quite a few fish on the reef, lucky to see a turtle while snorkeling as well. Weather picked up in the afternoon which made for gorgeous views from Wasini Island. Lunch was good. Staff and crew were super friendly and helpful. We also stopped at the Shimoni caves,it's an approx 15 min tour and good to see.
