Thoroughly enjoyed the walking part and listening to our guides stories. The wine, olive oil and truffle tasting was very informative and our guide made it fun. I’d highly recommend this tour and it’s great value for money.

We have done many food walking tours in many countries and sadly this was the most disappointing. If you are wanting many stops with local food tastings then this is NOT the tour for you. To be fair to Jan, he did tell us this at the start of the tour, but it was not what we thought we had booked. Basically it's a walk around the town which was nice and Jan's knowledge is excellent, but it is only at the end that we went to just one shop where we had to stand & wait in turn to try a cube of bread dipped in various flavours of olive oil, had 2 glasses of wine and finally some cured meats and morcel of cheese. It was very long and drawn out and hot and uncomfortable & we felt it was overpriced compared to other tours we've done. We read a review that said come hungry... Our advice would be to eat first as this is as it says just a TASTING.
