The day was very nice, despite the rain. Pisa is beautiful! There is so much to see in a short time! We purchased entrance tickets ahead of time for an 11 am Tower tour. (That was the time that was recommended by Viator. I had texted them through the app to ask for guidance. They answered immediately!) This is not a guided tour. Basically, you get a ride to the site with some information about the area. Then you are left to enjoy at your own pace. The guide meets to at an end point and takes you back to the port. I had made a mistake when I booked our tour and there was not enough space in the van for our group. MATTEO WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND to make things right. He negotiated a taxi for us to meet them in Pisa. When the tour ended, he took 3 of us to the train station, helped us purchase the correct tickets, then he walked us to the proper platform so we got on the correct train! He instructed us to hail a taxi back to the port. He also texted us lunch recommendations. He was absolutely amazing. So kind! He genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. And he more than succeeded. Thank you, Matteo! And thank you, Viator!

The day in Pisa was a pleasure, we enjoyed it. The history of the buildings and Churches were great!
