Just under a hour outside of Placencia Village, we’ll arrive at Mayan King. We’ll enjoy seven 7 zip Lines and a couple bridges, enjoying the views from as high as 400 feet into the tree tops. The longest line is 1300 feet. The lines crisscross over the river and valley below. This tour is easy for all ages. Children are welcome but may need to go tandem with another rider or guide. Then we’ll take a short hike down to the river. We’ll ride the river for about 45 minutes through mostly calm waters, with a few quick rapids along the way. For safety, life jackets and helmets are provided. We’ll also have two guides – one at the beginning and one at the end of our group – to help navigate the waters. Finally, we take a short drive to the waterfall – enjoy the pristine beauty and tranquil atmosphere of the natural waterfall. If you’re feeling adventurous, we’ll hike up to the second falls or you can relax by the pool (or even take a dip if you’re up to it!).

We had the best time doing this excursion and Israel was a fabulous guide. It was so personal, informative and loads of fun. Top notch all the way and we will book again when we return! For Zipline, Francisco and William were amazing and so fun! Vinnie led us on the river tubing and he was fantastic and so knowledgeable about the River and flora/fauna along the way. Israel would be waiting for us after each excursion and provided such personal care! He was so knowledgeable as well about Belize’s history and culture.

Thoroughly enjoyed river tubing, zip-lining and the waterfall. Our tour started promptly and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed learning about Belize from Jason and appreciated the humour of our other event guides at each site. Highly recommended this tour company.

We used Truly Wild and Jason for the second time in only 15 months. The experiences and service are worth every penny. Our family of 10 spent the day zip-lining, tubing, and jumping in the waterfall pool. Each person had a favorite experience but enjoyed each activity. Even the van ride from Placencia was great, learning about the area and the country from Jason, who is a very proud Belizean. If/when we return, we will definitely use Truly Wild again.
