This important archeological site is one of the most extensive of the Yucatan Peninsula. As we walk and bike along the pathways we will discover the ruins that emerge from the vegetation. You can climb the tallest pyramid in the peninsula here, which is the only pyramid that you can climb. From the top it is possible to admire the impressive panoramic view of the jungle that surrounds the archeological site. The afternoon will continue in the natural reserve of Punta Laguna where you will be able to observe both spider monkeys and howling monkeys in the trees, cross the lagoon in a canoe, go on a zip-line, attend a Mayan ceremony, and rappel down an exceptional cenote. We had a fantastic day visiting Coba and the Monkey Sanctuary. Our driver Juan Luis was great and super helpful and can’t say enough good things about Cristina. She was delightful and super knowledgeable and made the day super fun. The monkey sanctuary with the zip line, the canoe across the water and then the swim in the Cenote was excellent!!

Had a wonderful time today! The ruins were amazing - the bike ride through the jungle made it super-easy to get around. Great lunch, then off to the Cenote (must-do!), zip-lining, canoeing...and we saw the monkeys!! Cristina and Juan Luis to such good care of us. Cristina was so knowledgeable and brought the world of the ancient Mayans to life for all of us. Would highly recommend!!

Las majestuosas ruinas de Coba son un lugar imprescindible , escondidas entre la selva nos muestran el gran poderío que debió tener. Terminamos exhaustos pero satisfechos . Después visitamos Punta Laguna , una comunidad maya que es además una reserva de Monos. Increíble verlos en vida silvestre. Para mi la mejor parte!
