    Discover the hidden treasure of Tulum. This beautiful lagoon is located south of Tulum and what makes it a unique place is the color of the water and the fact that in the center of the lagoon there is a deep cenote. This cenote is around 80 meters deep and is one of the deepest in the region. You can tell the color contrast between the center of the lagoon and the sides. The water is fairly clear with a slight green turquoise color with its warm and shallow waters this place is ideal for swimming or taking photos.

To start this was wayyyyy too long of an excursion, you spend half of it driving all over mexico in a small bus with no bathroom picking up and dropping tour guests. The beach had no amenities but we did find a small place you could sit and order drinks for a price but you really had to search for it. The lagoon was cool but it just looked like a small lake, nothing special. The Cenotes were beautiful and well worth the money and the restaurant was really good. From door to door it was over 14hrs so be sure you are ready for that, most of it in a bus. The tour guides were friendly and we managed to make the most of it as it wasnt terrible but not what we expected. Also hot tip, when they tell you your pick up time, it is 45 min before the time on the ticket, you wont find that anywhere, we came down at the time on the ticket but the bus came 45 earlier and left without us, but they were good enough to reschedule for a later day......
