The five-star rating is especially for Sasa, our guide for Pompeii. He is wonderful. When he speaks to you about the history of Pompeii, he has a way of making you feel like you are the only people in the world. We felt well taken care of. Our driver was very skilled, navigating the insane Amalfi coast traffic. The hike to Vesuvius is fairly intense. The wine was excellent at Cantina del Vesuvio, but the tour seemed a little disorganized and we had to wait for other guests to arrive before it started.

Tour guide at Pompei was great and made the experience interesting. The wine lunch finished off a great day. The whole day well organised and driver very friendly and courteous .

My wife and I selected this tour and we thought it would be a nice and easy activity. We both thought Pompeii and Vesuvius were spectacular. The winery was a very nice bonus as well. Although the lunch at the winery wasn’t until the very end of the tour after Vesuvius and Pompeii. Our driver picked us up early (7:45am) and drove us to our first stop. We didn’t get to eat at the winery until the end of the tour. Around 3-4pm. We finally made it back to our hotel around 7pm. Safe to say, we were very hungry and tired after we got back. The views from the top of Vesuvius were spectacular but the walk to the top was difficult for most people in our group. The communication from the staff could’ve been much better. We had no idea when we were going next after each stop and had no idea when we would be eating lunch. Eat a big breakfast and bring some snacks if you can.
