Ancient Pompei in the afternoon

Glauco was recommended by my hotel concierge we met at one of the entrances to Pompei to say Clauco loves his job is an understatement. No question went unanswered his passion and knowledge was second to none and I truly believe if you are a tourist like myself he will educate you and if your archeologist he will educate you ! We booked the Pompeii tour with Glauco after a recommendation from our friend and travel advisor. She had just had a tour with her own family the month prior and had absolutely raved about her experience. Well, per usual, she was absolutely right! Glauco's tour of Pompei was amazing. He is clearly passionate about the area, extremely knowledgeable and was able to condense the whole experience into an enjoyable 2 hours. I had no idea how big Pompeii was, so we were so grateful to have Glauco there to personally guide us through it all. Not to mention our group size, ie the two of us and him, seemed way more enjoyable then being herded around in a large group. We highly recommend him - I am sure he is just as great at any of his other tours!

We have been on several private tours with private guides during five trips to Italy over last seven years. We thought Glauco was the best guide of all even though we have had very good guides.
