We highly recommend this tour and Alex! He grew up in Pompeii and has been coming to this ancient city since he was a child. He could answer any question, gave us a personalized tour based on our interests, spoke wonderful English and engaged the kids in our group (ages 11-16). It was incredibly hot and he showed us how to wet our baseball caps in the fountain to cool off. We used this "Alex Pompeii hat technique" throughout the rest of our trip during a heat wave in Italy.
