Mount Vesuvius, the still-active volcano that destroyed Pompeii and the zones around it, is rich in history, natural beauty, and wonderful landscapes. If your time is limited, we highly recommend our combo tour with a departure from Pompeii.It will start at 11:00 a.m. from Pompeii, and the group will leave with a licensed guide inside the archaeological area for 2 hours. The guide will show you the highlights of the ancient city.After that, you will have an hour and a half free to spend as you prefer.At 2:30 p.m., pick-up for Mount Vesuvius The bus will start from Pompeii and arrive at 1000 mt, where, with the entrance ticket already provided by us, you will be able to visit the crater. It is a great way to see part of Pompeii but you don’t have enough time there before you have the get the bus to Mount Vesuvius. Our guide was good but you don’t see the Colosseum. This is a ver big sight and I wish the tour would have started earlier so there was more time in Pompeii with out the guide. Also be aware that it is a 20 min hike to the top of Vesuvius if you are physically fit.

Everything was fine, except the drive back from Vesuvio... the AC was not working and it was awful... luckily no-one fainted but if was close. With help from a lot of passengers we shared drinks and changed sits so that the most affected people were sitting close to the only available window. Would expect some cold water at the end but no.

Die Organisation vor Ort war chaotisch. Man wurde von einem zum anderen geschickt. Erst nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen wusste man, wo man hin musste.
