Once inside the ruins the guide will stop to explain the history of the archeological site of Pompei and about the eruption and then you'll have a walk with her in the most peaceful moment of the day, when most of the tourist has gone and the light is changing and becoming softer. We have the chance at this time to see the most important building without line and with calm.

Paola was one of the most knowledgeable, passionate and friendly guides I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her love of archaeology and Pompeii was apparent and she was more than happy to answer as many questions as we had. She knew so much about the site and packed the tour with all the highlights.
