Experience a 2-hour tour of the ancient ruins of Pompeii led by a professional archaeologist guide and skip the line tickets included in a small group of maximum 20 people. Walk through the ruins and explore this ancient city, buried by Vesuvius in 79 AD. Learn about the history of the town and how the Romans lived and see all the most important public buildings and private houses. Visit the Western part of the town. You will see the Marina Gate, the Basilica, the Forum, the baths, the Lupanar (brothel), the bakery, the house of Faun, the Termopolium, the main street, the Plaster Casts of the dead's, and the Theaters. Amazing tour with Teresa today. She was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and funny. Would highly recommend this tour and company. We had a couple of glitches with our scheduling (no fault of the company!) and they were very accommodating and responsive to switching our dates around.
