The drop off is the central square of Sorrento, Piazza Tasso. It is the most popular place for tourists and locals to stop for a coffee or an aperitif. Explore Via della Pietà, the Sorrento Cathedral, the Corso Italia, the street for shopping and fashionable boutiques. Visit Villa Fiorentino where exhibitions such as those of Dali, Picasso and Pomodoro are often held. Walk along Via San Cesareo, one of the most characteristic streets in Sorrento, full of small craft shops, Admire the Sedil Dominova, the ancient meeting place of Sorrento society. Don't miss the Villa Comunale, a large terrace overlooking the panorama of the Gulf. Below the tuffaceous ridge you can see the bathing establishments of Marina Piccola and further on the harbour. Marina Grande with the ancient gateway to the city is Sorrento's fishing village and a favourite spot for tourists and locals alike for a dinner by the sea. Afterwords your driver will take you back to Positano.

    Temperatures in Sorrento drop when the sun starts to set, making it cool enough for relaxing strolls, locally referred to as passeggiata, in the city centre. Most of the restaurants and shops remain open until late, so you can get some shopping in or grab an ice cream and watch the sunset. It’s also a lot quieter in the evenings, so you can immerse yourself in the personality and atmosphere of Sorrento without the crowds. You could stick to the city centre or venture into the off-the-beaten-track places to see what you come across.

    The service exceeded all our expectations. Massimo was a skilled driver, the car was immaculate, his knowledge of the area enhanced our trips , he made sure we had the opportunity to take photos at the best spots and his playlist made the trip fun.
