Very disappointing. I booked and paid for this tour, and was later informed that the tour was cancelled because the operator scheduled a private tour that day.

We were lucky enough to have Samuel guide us around his beautiful island for three days. His tours are amazing. He is a wealth of knowledge of the history, the ecology and the geology of the area. His van is impeccably clean and comfortable and he is a wonderful driver on these very narrow, winding roads. His personality adds to the whole experience; he is funny and flexible just an all ‘round nice guy. I would highly recommend Sam for anyone coming to Sao Miguel.
