We did this as part of a combined Kingston Town & Country through AmStar, stopping at the Bob Marley Museum first. That's a different review. Also, we were in Secrets Montego Bay - the ride from here is about 3 hours each way so be ready for that. The Blue Mountain coffee tour was an experience getting there. Very narrow roads climbing to ~2700 feet above sea level or so. But there's more. You hike up the mountain to an overlook past growing coffee as well as banana and papaya trees. The views are incredible. However, it's a tough hike, and if you're not in shape this is not for you. It's about 1/4 to 1/2 mile and around 300-400 feet more in elevation. We got our exercise for the day! The most annoying part was that the guide took off with those who were in good shape and able to keep up. My wife had to take her time especially going back, and there were two ladies who were struggling ascending and descending. The guide could have slowed down a bit to ensure their safety. At the end, you hike back to the estate for information on how coffee originated and is grown there at Blue Mountain and have the opportunity to buy some. Finally, you head back into Kingston for lunch (we ate at Usain Bolt's Tracks & Records, really good food honestly).
