With its rich history and spectacular scenery on offer, it is easy to see why! Our popular tour allows you to experience it all. Jump aboard with one of our friendly, local drivers who will be keen to show you a fantastic day! On route, we will stop at Eaglehawk Neck's Pirates Bay lookout and the Dog Line Monument, the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry and the Tasmanian Lavender Farm. Next will be Port Arthur historic site (Admission at own cost) where you can enjoy exploring the site and a harbour cruise (included in admission). Stay for the full 4 hours or jump back on the bus after 3 hours to visit Remarkable Cave and Maingon bay.

This tour picks up at 8 locations in and around the city ONLY. Please ensure you have selected a location from the list. Please let us know what pickup point you have selected if you haven't selected one during the booking process.

If you are carrying luggage or a stroller, it essential that you inform us directly at the time of booking.

Please ensure plenty of time to get to your selected pick up location. This is a shuttle service which means if you are not at your location on time the bus cannot wait. Please do not call if the bus is a few minutes late remembering traffic and other pick ups can cause delays. The bus will never leave before the time specified.

Visitor Centre, Historic Site, Port Arthur TAS 7182, Australia Arrive at approx. 12:00 PM. Pickup for return at 4:00 PM (or 3:10 PM if you want to visit Remarkable Cave and Maingon Bay).

  • You must inform us if you require room for a pram. No car seats available.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • The departures and duration of transfers are exact. Bus departing times are strict (to and from Port Arthur), No refunds if you miss the bus. Please understand that the bus cannot wait around and that you will have to make other arrangements if you miss the return bus. Allow plenty of time to get to your pick up locations.
  • We offer pick ups at 8 locations in and around the city. When booking please ensure you select one of those locations.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We had a fantastic day, beautiful views, so much history and the weather was perfect! Mark, our tour guide was great! We learned a lot about Hobart and Port Arthur from him.
