If you want to get closer to nature join us on a walking tour through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Algarve – the 7 hanging valleys trail, followed by a fantastic cruise to visit the famous Benagil caves. This scenic route is situated in Carvoeiro area and offers a string of notable stops at Benagil and Carvalho beaches, among others. The walk takes place along the top of coastal cliffs defined by deeply sculpted shapes and beautiful ocher and golden Cliffs. The walk is led by an experienced guide. At the end of the walk you will have free time in Ferragudo to have a snack or just walk around. Our next Experience is the visit to the beautiful grottoes of the Algarve in our comfortable boats! We depart from Portimão and cruise at ease towards Algar Seco and Benagil we will take you into different caves.

We had a wonderful time. Nice hike with spectacular views, followed by a boat ride in and near caves. Mattias was a good guide and pointed out the different beaches, caves, and valleys, and always insured we were safe. We were hoping to learn a little more about the history of the area, but it was still very good. We hiked west and stopped at the Benegil Beach Bar to get a cold drink (not included), but bring water with you as it does get hot on the hiking trail. The hiking portion ended at the Alfanzina lighthouse, and we stopped briefly at the Rocha Brava resort (not included) for a drink while waiting for the van to pick us up. We had a quick lunch at Restaurante Portarade (not included) in Ferragudo between the hike and boat ride. We were given 40 minutes for lunch but felt rushed. Marcelo was an excellent boat captain and had great skill in maneuvering the boat in and out of the caves and around other vessels near us. It was interesting to get a perspective from the water of the area we hiked earlier. We would highly recommend this tour, particularly the boat ride portion.

Eine wunderschöne Wanderung mit Peter, der einem viel über die Algarve erzählen kann. Mit ausreichend Stopps für Fotos und Erfrischungen. Jetzt im Frühjahr sehr angenehm (ca. 24 Grad und sonnig) Die Schnellboottour war ein besonderes Highlight, wir konnten die Höhle teilweise von innen betrachten und Lorenzo ist ein Superbootsführer.

The hike was very scenic and the boat ride into the caves topped off the day. Great guide. Would definitely recommend it.
