Immerse in and interpret the natural beauty of Maine by capturing the moment in a painting. We will hike and paint on location. No experience necessary. This is an all level class that can be enjoyed by beginner painters as well as more experienced.

It was chilly but a wonderful experience. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try anew experience. The beach we painted on had a awning which helped because it did rain while we were there.

Pleine air painting on a secluded beach. Even with breezy weather Joanne patiently weathered the storm with her students. So much fun and I for one cannot wait to return. Joanne was attentive and encouraging to a beginner artist. A must do when visiting beautiful Portland Maine.

I was a first time painter and thought I would give this a try. How can you lose with all of the scenic views? I was very surprised to find out that I love to paint! Everything was provided,including a snack:)After this experience,I went right to the craft store and stocked up!I have been painting ever since,and find that it is also great therapy.Jo-Ann was a lovely person,and a great teacher.Her enthusiasm for her craft was contagious.I would highly recommend this adventure!!
