In 1931, the St Johns Bridge was built on the site with 400-ft towers and a main span of 1,207 feet. It is the only steel suspension bridge in Portland.

We booked this tour late on July 4th and when we showed up on the 5th Damon the driver was so friendly and told us we were the only people on his bus, for 12 people. He could have easily cancelled this tour with only 2 people but he took us every where and was so polite and informative. He shared lots of information about the museums and areas in town and locations. We appreciated the time at the Mansion and the Rose garden. We wanted to check out Powell Books so he dropped us off there at end of tour. He added a lot to our time in Portland and made our day special!

Very knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide, you can tell he likes what he does and it makes for a great time. I felt he took me way beyond what was expected. Would use this tour company again.
