The perfect Overview of Porto! You will be picked up at your accommodations and we’ll start to explore the city.  The rhythm is slow-paced with lots of conversation, historical facts, curiosities, stops for photos and to enjoy the views. We’ll go through places like the Sé Cathedral and Miragaia and along the river Douro to Massarelos with his bridges. On our way back to the historical center we’ll explore Virtudes, Clérigos, Vitória and learn all their history.  After, we´ll cross to Gaia, see the D.Luis bridge and the Port wine neighborhood.  (Only for All Day Tour) - We’ll have lunch at one of the fisherman's villages around Porto and after lunch, what better than a Port? We’ll explore Gaia, the natural reserve, and visit one of the oldest Cellars to learn their history and to taste their Ports.  We´ll finish back at your accommodations.     We'll continue to explore the historical centre, going through it's oldest neighborhoods like Clérigos (clergymen), Virtudes and Vitória. We'll learn the stories and histories behind the old buildings and landmarks, like Lello Bookstore and Clérigos tower, and their importance in the history and evolution of Porto.

Amazing way to see Porto and the surrounding areas from view points, history, street art to landmarks. Pacio our driver was have a wonderful tour offering just the right amount of information with regular breaks. This is a must tour to do early on your visit to Porto as you will get your bearings of the fantastic city ????????

We choose the 4 hour food tour and can honestly say Porto Sidecar Tours was THE absolute highlight of our trip, and that’s thanks entirely to our incredible guide, João. From the moment we hopped into the sidecar, João made us feel like we were spending the day with an old friend. His knowledge of Porto’s history, neighborhoods, and culinary culture was deep and engaging — but never rehearsed or robotic like you find at some places. We stopped at a few local cafes for coffee, drinks, and snacks. Places you would never think to stop if you were just strolling. João’s personal stories and context brought each one to life. The experience culminated in a traditional Sunday lunch by the sea, in a quiet fishing village we never would have discovered on our own. It was honest, hearty, and completely unforgettable. The grilled fish and Vinho Verde...... This tour gave us a true taste of Porto, both literally and culturally. If you’re even considering booking — do it.
