We rented two bikes to ride around town and it was excellent. All the other reviews are correct. The bikes were well tuned (maybe better than my own at home! ) and worked great. Comfortable too. We got their trek style bikes: upright, seat spring and front fork shocks, cushy (but not too cushy) seats. We rode the other recommended ride along the canals and the estuary on a boardwalk. Stopped for drinks and food going both ways at the cafe at the beginning of the boardwalk.

We rented e-bikes and biked from city center to the seaside. Most of the way was protected from traffic on bike pathways. The woman who owed the shop was kind and helpful getting us set up and headed in the right direction via Google maps. We would highly recommend.

Irina was so helpful renting us e-bikes & showing us the cycling route to Costa Nova. She was a delight to work with, and made sure we had everything we needed for the ride. We wanted to see the cute striped houses, the palheiros, and the ocean/beach. Her directions led us there and back. The bikes were in great condition, & we had a good ride. We recommend Biclaria unreservedly. Afternoon of May 27, 2024.
