    Crestuma –Lever Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Douro. It is located in the municipality Vila Nova de Gaia, in Porto District, Portugal. Crestuma –Lever Dam is a 25.5 m tall (height above foundation).

  • Barragem do Carrapatelo, Marco de Canaveses, Portugal
    Carrapatelo Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Douro, where the river forms the border line between the districts of Porto and Viseu. It is located in the municipalities of Marco de Canaveses, in Porto District, and Cinfães, Viseu District, Portugal. Construction of the dam began in 1964. The dam was completed in 1972.

Its a very long day … but very worthwhile - great to see all the various vineyards - fab tour of croft vineyard. Staff were very helpful and efficient throughout the day
