    Carrapatelo Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Douro, where the river forms the border line between the districts of Porto and Viseu. It is located in the municipalities of Marco de Canaveses, in Porto District, and Cinfães, Viseu District, Portugal. Construction of the dam began in 1964. The dam was completed in 1972.

Leuke dagtocht, veel in het busje maar de uitleg tussendoor is wel goed. Bezoek aan het wijndomein was kort maar leerrijk.

To get to know the city of Amarante, have lunch with wine tasting and still stroll through the River Douro was very pleasant. The trip was also animated by the presence of Sergio (driver) and our guide Slimay.
