O projeto "Fado by Casa da Guitarra" pretende oferecer-lhe a essência deste género musical num serão de encantamento e deslumbramento. Durante o concerto de uma hora, você entrará em contato com elementos culturais portugueses únicos - Fado, instrumentos tradicionais portugueses de cordas e vinho do Porto - todos profundamente relacionados à história portuguesa. A actuação do fado decorre num ambiente intimista, geralmente com um ou dois cantores, acompanhados por um guitarrista português e por guitarristas (tocando uma viola de fado). Um tradicional vinho do Porto será servido durante o intervalo para completar a noite e será oferecido um postal ilustrado, contendo alguma explicação sobre a essência do Fado. É aconselhável chegar 10 minutos antes.

    According to Amália Rodrigues, the great fado singer, "The point is to feel Fado. Because Fado is not sung, it happens. It can not be explained, only felt." Have a meeting with portuguese culture,  contacting with  very unique  cultural values - fado, portuguese tradicional stringed instruments, wine - deeply related with the history of Portugal. The one hour-long concert starts with the emotional voice of our leading female singer, followed by the rich sounds of the  portuguese guitar and the viola de fado (guitar). On the pause, it will be served a reserve port wine from a portuguese family-owned company of Douro Valley. An hour-long concert that drive us through the intense emotions of Fado.

This was our first time hearing about fado and we were not disappointed. The vocalists and guitarists delivered a very powerful performance, with a good mix of slow and faster songs. The setting was quite intimate and I would recommend arriving early to get front row seats like we did. An unforgettable performance, definitely worth experiencing during a trip to Porto.

Nice location, above a guitar shop. Small setting. There were 12 of us. I think it can hold up to 30 people. I thought Fado was just dramatic songs, but it's not. DE dramatic songs were the most beautiful. I don't remember her name, but DE 1st lady who sang, was very impressive. EN a nice glass of port during DE break. Takes a total of 1 hour. Definitely worth DE

Prachtige fado show in een intieme setting (ongeveer 40-50 mensen) met goede akoestiek. Zeer goede musici.: twee gitaristen en een zanger en zangeres die afwisselend ontzettend mooi hebben gezongen. Een aanrader!
