    The Arrábida Bridge is an arch bridge that crosses the Douro River, connecting Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. It was built in 1963 as a response to the increasing flow of traffic and the need for alternative connections to the old bridges. At the time of its construction, the bridge had the largest reinforced concrete arch of any bridge in the world.
  • Ponte de Sao Joao, Porto, Portugal
    The São João Bridge was built to replace the D. Maria Pia Bridge, another iconic bridge in Porto. Nous étions 4 adultes et avons perdu 2 heures à chercher le bateau qui voulait bien accepter notre réservation par Viator. Il manquait des informations apparemment de la part de Viator sur les billets achetés. Les fournisseurs de services de croisière nous envoyaient de l’un à l’autre. Très désagréable. La mini croisière est toutefois intéressante .

Nice boat ride on the river which gives a different view of Porto from both sides of the river. However there was no commentary af all about the bridges or districts of Porto
