This full day tour will take you to "Arouca Geopark" where the Paiva River flows at the bottom of a glorious valley. The Paiva Walkways or Passadiços do Paiva that follows the river path is our goal. A conveniente stop in Arouca village to try the local sweets. Once there, you will have chance to go for an 8 Km path with one of the best views in our country! After the morning hike head to Alvarenga, a small village famous for having the best meat in Portugal! A unique lunch to try "Posta Arouquesa", a beautiful piece of grilled beef and judge by yourself.

???? A huge thank you to Detours – and Anna! I had the chance DE participate in three excursions with Détour: the Porto Food Tour, the Douro Valley Tour, and the Paiva Walkways Tour. Three very different experiences, but all equally well organized, rich and perfectly supervised. My guide for these three outings was Anna, and I can only recommend her 100%. She was great: always smiling, very welcoming, attentive, and full DE little touches that make the days even more enjoyable. You feel that she loves what she does and that she wants everyone to have a good time. At the end, I felt DE I was no longer with a guide, but with a friend. Thank you Anna, and thank you Detours, for these precious moments ????
