We used this service to transfer from the Porto Airport to the Vintage House Hotel in the Douro valley. We provided our flight number when we filled out the forms and everything was incredibly easy. As soon as we got off the plane and through customs we saw our driver, Ricardo, who was holding a sign with our name on it. Ricardo was incredibly professional and courteous and the Mercedes he drove us in was spacious and immaculate. It is less than a two hour drive to get to the Douro valley from Porto and the entire ride is stunning. Ricardo is a great driver and the ride was incredibly smooth the entire way through. We would absolutely use this service the next time we need a transfer from Porto to the Douro valley. Thanks again, Ricardo!

We had an excellent experience with Maia Tours and our driver Ricardo. He picked us up from our hotel in Porto and first drove us to our hotel in Douro Valley. Next day he picked us up from our hotel in Douro Valley and took us to a boat tour in Pinhao. He had us visit the Pinhao railway station and took us to two view points near Pinhao and drove us back to Porto. Ricardo was always punctual and very helpful at the various points we visited. Most importantly he is a very pleasant person who also shared some lesser known facts about Douro Valley.

Very windy roads, our driver made the trip very comfortable. Not sure the price was worth it, but the driver was great.
