Escape from the touristic gastro clichés and have a taste of authentic Portuguese food. Feast upon some of the culinary wonders of Porto and Northern of Portugal. Besides tasting, learn the history behind the dishes. On this tour will be trying some of Porto’s most alluring ‘petiscos’ (6 food portions), some of the local drinks (5 drinks) and most of all, to end up in the best way, the sweets! During the tour we will talk about curious aspects of the food we try, and about the rich history and present of Porto. In the end you will have an excellent perspective of Porto, and (hopefully) go with excellent memories! The maximum group size for this 3.30-hour tour is 10.

The Porto Food Tour was fantastic! Every place we stopped was delicious. Our tour guide João did a wonderful job explaining the food and the history of the city. I would highly recommend to anyone coming to Porto.

We didn’t sample the traditional tourist things but instead sampled the traditional food that the locals eat. It was fantastic. André was so interesting and very easy to talk to. Would recommend this tour especially if Andre is your guide

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our food tour.. João was an exceptional guide, he was very knowledgeable and taught us so much about the history of the city, as well as the food and wine. We highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed! Be prepared to try different flavours and textures!
