Due to other plans already made, we booked this food tour for the last evening of our trip. In hindsight we should have booked it for the first night, however it did not disappoint and the places Beatriz took us to we had not been to before. Beatriz was the perfect host, friendly, knowledgable, and adaptable. She went above expectations by changing one of our dishes ahead when we’d told her it was a dish we’d already tried. Great local food (plenty of it!) paired with great drinks, and the walk is very doable for all ages. Highly recommend booking for a unique experience.

This was an excellent introduction to the food, wine and beer of Porto. The tour was nicely paced around 3 hours and we learned some interesting history about the Portuguese culture and various historical sites from our guide Diogo. I would never have known this was his very first tour because of the passion and knowledge he shared with us. Diogo you are a natural at promoting your city and country. Well done! As with all Eating Europe tours, come hungry.

The views and the history that Beatrice shared with us were amazing. The restaurants and food were an exciting experience. It was a real taste of Portugal. Enjoyed every part of this tour and the people we were with. A lot of fun. Thank you for a great evening.
